Wind Tunnel Simulation of Garanti Bank Technology Campus
Garanti Bank Technology Campus designed by Era Architects was tested in the wind tunnel to investigate the air flow around the buildings and on facades. One of the objective of the test was to visualize the macro level wind regime areas and apply countermeasure to reduce the wind effect on those areas for pedestrian wind comfort. The other one was to provide wind pressure coefficient on the building surfaces to eliminate the negative effect of the wind.

Experimental analyzes were carried out in the atmospheric boundary layer wind tunnel. The test section length is 12 m and the test section measurements are 2.5 m-1.85 m. The open circuit subsonic wind tunnel, all of the building-wind interaction analyzes can be carried out.
