ABOUT ME
I started my career as an architect with the passion for building physic and sustainability. Then, I obtained my master degree in “Environmental Control and Building Technologies”. During that time, I studied on the wind effect of high-rise buildings on the surrounding buildings using wind tunnel facility of Istanbul Technical University. However, I wanted to expand my study area from building scale to urban scale to understand the whole mechanism of the wind and thermal forces. Therefore, I obtained my PhD degree in Engineering as an urban engineer in Japan. I am pursuing my career as a postdoctoral researcher in Japan working on mitigation and local adaptation to climate change in an Asian Megacity, Jakarta. I have a strong interest in the integration of the numerical models from mesoscale to microscale for simulating wind and thermal environments.
